Teresa was raised a farm girl near Woden, Iowa by her amazing parents, Duane and Marj Logemann. She accepted Jesus as her Savior at age 7 and was a member of Britt Nazarene Church. After graduating from Mankato University with a BSN in nursing, Teresa pursued a career in nursing and raised 4 incredible children. In 2003, under Pastor Michael Lynch’s godly leadership, she accepted a new role as parish nurse for the Greater Iowa City Church of the Nazarene.

Following God’s life changing experience, she was called into full-time ministry. God’s vision for compassionate ministries which was called ICCompassion, was started in 2006 and Teresa has served as executive director since the beginning. In addition to these duties, she has served as pastor of Open Door Church for the last three years. This past spring she completed her studies for ordination from Nazarene Theological Seminary. In July 2018 Teresa was ordained and is now serving as senior pastor of the Greater Iowa City Nazarene Church. She loves being a mom to Stephanie, Stacie, Samuel, Simon, and newest daughter Jessica. It is her joy to work with Stephanie and her husband Taylor who pastor Infuse. She is enjoying their baby daughter and Teresa’s first grandchild, Ellie.  She loves the country, is very blessed and grateful for the opportunities of life, and the complete joy in serving Jesus.
